Teatro Restaurante Bar

A truly special experience during our trip in Portugal. I highly recommend the tasting menu- inventive and delicious. Service was thoughtful, well coordinated, but made us feel comfortable. Wine pairings excellent. I wish I could more easily visit.

The food was unfortunately a disappointing. We had a Steak(21&euro;) and a Day Menu with Pescada a Z&eacute; do Pipo(16&euro;). The steak was quite expensive, but was hard and tasted bland. The fish had a huge coat of mayonnaise with runny potato pur&eacute;e. The ambiance is pleasant and the service is amazing as usual.

Wonderful traditional experience, very nice food - the feel is that of a small family restaurant, very intimate and cosy. Although the restaurant itself is small and not very pretentious, it makes for a gorgeous authentic Portuguese experience, Will definitely visit again!
